AGP Art Rental & Sales program

The AGP Art Rental & Sales program launches this fall with an exhibition of art works available for rent or purchase. The exhibition will feature Peer Christensen, John Climenhage, Marilyn Goslin, Molly Moldovan, Rob Niezen and Victoria Wallace.

This newly launched program is a revision of an earlier version which was run successfully by the AGP. The AGP Art Rental and Sales Program enables individuals to enjoy original works of art at an affordable cost. For potential buyers, the service is an opportunity to live with an artwork before committing to the final purchase. For corporate clients, the rental of art is a way to enhance a work environment. Art Rental is a great way to learn more about artists of our region and expand your vision for collecting artwork. We hope that this just the beginning of enjoying the many opportunities to explore the art world through our local festivals, studio tours and vibrant private galleries. There is nothing like living with an original work of art! Membership to the Art Gallery of Peterborough is required to rent works from the Art Rental Program. Rental periods range from three to twelve months, and up to three months of the rental fee can be deducted from the sale price, if the work is purchased. Rental fees start at as low as $15 per month. The Art Gallery of Peterborough will offer the Art Rental and Sales Program beginning January 2012. This exhibition reveals a sampling of the fine innovative artwork by artists of our region that will be included in the AGP Art Rental Program. Go to www.agp.on.ca for more information.
